The Operation at Ease Board of Directors meets year round to ensure the resources and planning is in place for both the families and the volunteers. In addition, take advantage of opportunities to spread the word at military installations so deserving families know of Operation at Ease
President: Provides leadership to the overall OAE program. In addition to overseeing the board meetings, represents OAE at meetings and functions to promote the program and takes advantage of marketing opportunities
Treasurer: Maintains financial records and back accounts. Disperses funds approved by the board
Initial Military Contact: First person to receive an application for a weekend. Is responsible for ensuring the applicant meets the requirements for a visit and will contact a supervisor when necessary to verify any information
Family Coordinator: Once an application is approved, the Family Coordinator contacts the family to give them an overview of their weekend and works to find a weekend where the family can fit into the overall plan. They get all the information about the family and the children, so proper condos can be assigned. In addition, the Family Coordinator helps the family select their Saturday amenity
Head Photographer: Provides guidance to the approximately 30 volunteer photographers. Not to mention does numerous photo shoots during the summer as well. Also, documents all OAE activities
Condominium Coordinator: Works with the St. James Rental Office off season to procure rentals for the weekends designated by the board for visits. During the season manages number required each weekend, as any changes in visits occur
"Weekly Packet" Manager: For the lack of a technical term, this person works during the off season with supportive businesses and activities to procure coupons/tickets etc required for each visit. Also, reviews and updates the Operation at Ease Information folder provided to each family. After each visit, must restock any coupons/tickets etc for the next visit.
Volunteer Communications: Responsible for communications to the 300+ volunteers. During the summer, forwards the dates and families for the weekly visits so the front line volunteers have a chance to contact the monthly coordinator to help. Maintains the volunteer data base and OAE website
