​Operation at Ease

St. James   North Carolina



What: OAE provides a complimentary weekend for military members and their families in Southport NC.  There is no "catch" as it is truly a thank you provided by the grateful St. James community
Thank you to all the deserving families that applied for Operation at Ease 2023.  Our family scheduler is working to schedule visits starting with the individuals who were deployed the longest and working down. We have closed the applications for 2023.  Applications for 2024 will open mid-January 2024 for the summer of 2024

Volunteer Information for St. James Residents
Who:  Active duty service members, focusing on those with long term deployments in the past year or returning from a remote assignment.
Why:  Show appreciation to service members and their families

​​When:  Weekends between April and September

Where:  St. James, NC located on the intercoastal waterway, between Wilmington and the SC border.  Oak Island beaches are just across the bridge from St. James
