Operation at Ease Mission

Our mission is to provide active-duty military personnel who have recently deployed to a combat zone or other area where there is a reasonable expectation of hostile combat operations, and their immediate families, with a complimentary weekend of rest, relaxation and recreation as an expression of our community’s appreciation and gratitude for their service.

Operation at Ease Vision

We envision a program offering around 50 family visits each year, sustained over many years, for as long as our service members continue to deploy regularly to locations where they are placed in harm’s way.  We anticipate that the greater St. James community, including several local businesses, will continue to enthusiastically provide the volunteer man-hours, financial resources and in-kind donations required to operate the program indefinitely.
