Operation at Ease Meet and Greet 2025

Volunteers are welcome year-round.  However, the best way to learn more about Operation at Ease (how to volunteer and get answers to questions) is at the annual Meet and Greet kicking off the 2025 season

When:  March 18th, at 6PM 

Where:  Homer E. Wright Event Center  

Who:  Current volunteers, St. James residents interested in volunteering or learning more

How: 

• Current volunteers will receive information on how to RSVP through the OAE emails.
• Others will see information in "What's Up St. James?" in February 2025. 
• There will be information on steps to take if unable to attend.

What will be Presented

• Overview of the 2024 Operation at Ease:  Both the visits and the overall organization
• Information about Operation at Ease Volunteer Opportunities
• Breakout areas for each volunteer responsibility with someone from that area to allow questions specific to each.  Breakout areas will be: 
  • Greeters
  • Meal Preparation
  • Boat Captains
  • Photographers
• In addition, for those either currently serving or interested in being a
  • Greeter or
  • Photographer,

you will have the chance to sign up for an orientation session to be held at a later date, as those positions require specific training on procedures and what is required.
